Mumbai Tawa Pulao

Introduction

If you thought roadside Tawa pulao doesn't have that masaledaar kick you crave for, then this recipe is the one to turn to! Make your tawa go ta-waah in a thrice with just a few ingredients and a dash of Ching's Schezwan Chutney! Watch it now!

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp chopped ginger
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • Salt to taste
  • 1, 1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala
  • 5 tbsp Ching's Schezwan Chutney
  • 1 small diced onion
  • 1/2 diced capsicum
  • 1/2 cup blanched cauliflower
  • 1 small diced tomato
  • 1/4 cup green peas
  • 500g boiled rice
  • 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp butter

STEP BY STEP METHOD

1. Heat oil in a pan and add garlic, ginger and stir fry for 2-3 minutes.

2. Now add the chopped onions, tomatoes, salt, pav bhaji masala and Ching's Schezwan Chutney and mix well.

3. Toss in the diced onions, capsicum, cauliflower, tomato, green peas and rice. Give the mixture a good stir.

4. Add the boiled rice. Toss well.

5. Add coriander leaves, butter and mix well.

6. Transfer the tawa pulao to a serving bowl and garnish with coriander leaves.

7. Lip- smacking and sizzling Schezwan Tawa Pulao is ready. Serve hot and enjoy!
